Browsing the web this morning, I came across le Souk. Le Souk is a small online boutique to discover and buy beautiful and unique products for you and your home. Founder Danielle de Lange from the Netherlands has a passion for design and style. She travels the world to find unique goods that not only inspire and look great, but are functional as well. Her collection offers a range of home accessories for modern living, as well as personal accessories for you and your kids. Mixing modern, traditional and handmade, every single product at Le Souk is selected with a lot of care and love.
Le Souk supports women in war-torn countries. Le Souk donates at least 5% of its profits to Women for Women. This nongovernmental organisation helps women in war-torn regions rebuild their lives by providing them with job skills training, rights education, access to capital, assistance in small business development and financial and emotional support.
In addition to le Souk, Danielle de Lange writes posts in her weblog about design and (life) style : The Style Files. The Style Files is dedicated to search the globe for inspirational finds. Observations and ideas related to design, interiors, art and other life enhancing subjects are posted daily. This is a place to absorb new ideas, find new products & designs and to get inspired!
